
Designing reliable IoT edge devices
Energy efficiency is a must for most HVAC systems, and other building management systems. IoT technologies are real solutions for most of the problems happening with those systems. HVAC equipment is usually regulated in a predefined, old fashion way causing wasteful problems like overheating, compressor failures, and similar issues. Real-time IoT sensors and equipment enable on-demand, equipment control in order to achieve higher efficiency.
Designing Q-Link relay module
It all started by building an automated relay system based on the IoTaaP OS. In order to ensure reliable connectivity, various safety systems are used in the background and implemented in IoTaaP Cloud. Based on the first PCB designs and enclosure designs, the first renderings came out.
By using additive technologies, a new enclosure was printed in two colors, including logo, and devices promptly entered rigorous testing procedures before certification and serial production.
